Re-visions of now and future:
Reimagining the AI world we deserve to live in, through theory and practice

Open Call for think pieces and articles for the <1st AI & Equality Community Publication >

Down the rabbit hole of a proactive & collective vision: How do we co-create a better AI future?

Our first issue of this community publication aims to address this question. ‘Re-visions of now and future’ brings together pieces aimed at how we might re-imagine the AI world we deserve to live in – in theory and in practice –  in the here and now and going forward into an AI  future.

< AI & Equality > is accepting blog posts, think-pieces, articles, and academic essays  for our first <AI & Equality> Community Publication. The online collection will bring together ideas from our diverse disciplines and global perspectives, and provide an outlet to produce and share work to further the goals of a human-rights based and feminist framed AI world. The final publication will be included at the <AI & Equality> Conference in July, with selected authors being invited to present their work further.

We encourage pieces focused on this theme, but the final selection won’t necessarily adhere strictly to this topic. We encourage anyone from all ages, backgrounds, and training to submit. As this is a community publication, selected pieces may be edited in collaboration with the original author and fellow selected authors in order to curate a final publication together.

Requirements for Submission:

Adherence to a specific formatting is not required, however proper citation and crediting of ideas is required in any format the author chooses

→ 2 to 15 pages (no longer than 15 pages)

→ Relevance to the topics of human rights, feminism, technology, and AI (whether that be together or one individual topic)
